The Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy was definitely in my memory, but not exactly in a positive way. After I plunged into the magical adventure on the PS5 and even dusted the platinum trophy for Ravenclaw, the game on the switch felt as if someone had fried my console.
Worse graphics, streak, re -charging textures and charging screens in an actually open world made my childhood dream a trip to the chamber of horror. But now there is a ray of hope for all Nintendo fans, the Hogwarts Legacy (Buy now € 35.62 / 13.75 € ))) Finally want to play in a reasonable version – and it bears the name Switch 2.
Finally a Hogwarts letter, but at what price?
The long -awaited successor console is to see the light of the video game world on June 5, 2025. At the start, in addition to Mario Kart World, a whole handful of blockbuster games for Nintendo’s new platform such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Split Fiction, even Elden Ring has already been announced for the future.

Hogwarts Legacy is also part of this port offensive, which gives you your letter from the school for witchcraft and magic directly to the console release. Well, at least if you are ready to venture into the expensive prices of future games.
It is not yet known whether it is a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition like Tears of the Kingdom or Super Mario Party Jamboree, for which you can get a cheaper upgrade if you already have the original version. It could actually also be that the game simply appears for the new console and therefore demands the full price of you
Therefore, if you have to break into a dungeon to Gringotts in order to be able to pay the school fees, I will not whistle you – but take care of you so as not to end as a kite food. And it is better not to tell me if someone secretly pours me into the butter beer.
Apart from the presumed proud price for the new version, I’m particularly interested in one thing, and of course that is the technical state of the magical role -playing game. I strongly assume that we will be dealing with the game variant of the game in June, as on the PS4.
You want a time returnor
There, the loading times were already noticeably longer than on the current consoles and PCs, but the castle and the lands still looked quite appealing. This is something that the switch version unfortunately cannot say – although the loading times there was actually shorter in comparison.
However, this was equalized by the amount of interruptions when I lock my character into other areas of the castle or, Merlin, who wanted to send them to Hogsmeade. Even entering shops in the magical village was associated with waiting times.
But well, I’m not here to chop around on the previous version. Rather, my point is that I am happy for all players who have been really looking forward to Hogwarts Legacy, but can only play on their Nintendo console.
