Oscar Piastri joins the fight for the title of the Formula 1 World Cup after his victory at the Bahrein Grand Prix. The Australian pilot surpasses Verstappen in the classification of the F1 World Cup and puts himself second with 74, to three of his teammate, the World Cup leader, Lando Norris. The British pilot maintains the leadership after Max’s sixth post, which falls to third position.
The World Cup classification is squeezed after the victory of Piastri. Russell also approaches Verstappen in the general at the expense of knowing whether he suffers a sanction or not to open DRS accidentally during the race. The British is still fourth, but it is located only six points of the podium marked by the Red Bull driver.
