Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Tarak Mehta’s Ooltah Chashma actor Lalit Manchanda died of suicide on 21 April. He was found dead at his home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. According to the Times of India report, the police have confirmed that the actor was found hanging inside his house. The Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) also paid tribute to the late actor. The association shared a post mourning its X handle. In which the caption wrote, “Cintaa expresses his condolences on the death of Lalit Manchanda (member).”

Lalit Manchanda earned a name with Tarak Mehta’s inverted glasses. Apart from this, actor has also worked in other TV shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, India’s Most Wanted, Crime Petrol and others. He has also appeared in cameo roles in Bollywood films.
Who is in Lalit’s family
Lalit Manchanda’s family is survived by his wife Taru Manchanda. The couple are parents of two children. According to a report by Etimes TV, Lalit faced mental stress, personal challenges and financial crises in recent months. It is believed that this is the reason for the actor committing suicide.
Lalit has not found a suicide letter
After receiving the report of the incident, local law enforcement immediately took action. Officials found that Manchanda’s body was hanging inside the house. The deceased was taken into custody and taken to local facility for post -mortem. It has also been told in the report that no suicide note has been recovered near the spot. The investigation so far shows that there is no disturbance or third party involvement in Lalit Manchanda’s death.
