The Galaxy Tab S10 Fe comes in two sizes
Samsung is launching the new tablets in two sizes: The Galaxy Tab S10 Fe has a 10.9 -inch screen, which corresponds to 27.7 centimeters in the diagonal in a contemporary metric level. With 25×17 centimeters, it is smaller than a DIN A4 sheet, at 6 millimeters it is nice and flat. Samsung made the housing made of aluminum, the Tab S10 FE weighs 500 grams. The budget was not enough for the outstanding OLED screen of the expensive S10, the LCD in the FE is still impressive. The resolution of 2304×1440 pixels ensures a crackling -sharp display of websites and documents. For comparison: The cheaper Galaxy Tab A9+ has to be satisfied with 1920×1080 pixels. Samsung also promises very good readability even in sunlight with a maximum brightness of 800 candela. The automatic adaptation to the ambient light is also promising, whereby the “vision booster” also regulates color and contrast.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Fe+ is 13.2 inches – or 33.5 centimeters – large, while the predecessor S9 Fe+ only came to 12.4 inches. This now makes the delimitation of the two FE tablets more clear: the normal model is very mobile in the classic tablet format, the FE+ comes to DIN-A4 or laptop format with dimensions of 30×20 centimeters and is therefore even more suitable as a tool. With the format, the resolution grows to 2880×1800 pixels, which is even more than the expensive OLED model A10+ with its 2800×1752 pixels. Regardless of whether FE or FE+, in both cases, the LCDs show 60 to 90 frames per second depending on the content ongoing. On the one hand, this ensures liquid scrolling through texts and websites, but does not waste any resources in the event of slow image content.
The S PEN can be written and drawn very well on the new Galaxy-Tab-S10-FE flat computer, the tablets also recognize formulas and calculate if necessary or convert notes into text documents.

In the Galaxy Tab S10 Fe+, Samsung uses his in-house Exynos-1580 processor in the Galaxy Tab S10 Fe. It should be 35 percent faster than its predecessor (Exynos 1380), and even 53 percent in the graphic performance. The increase in performance of the Integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which even promises an increase of 198 percent, is even clearer. Accordingly, this inspires applications and functions such as “Circle to Search”: In a photo, it is sufficient to mark an object by finger wiped with a cave, and the tablet provides information – for example, for a photographed sight. Handwritten notes can adjust the tablet into a handsome typeface or turn into conventional text, it also recognizes formulas and dissolves equations if necessary. Translations with automatic recognition of the language should also be possible.

Both Galaxy Tab S10 Fe and Galaxy Tab S10 Fe+ come onto the market in two variants: with 128 gigabytes (GB) memory and 8 GB RAM as well as 256 and 12 gigabytes. In all cases, the memory can be expanded by up to 2 terabytes with a microSD card, so far it was over at 1 TB. There is no longer a headphone connection, recharge your batteries via USB-C. Even with the small model, it is quite lavish with 8,000 mAh, the cheaper A9+ for comparison has to be satisfied with 7,040 mAh. The larger model can fall back to 10,090 mAh to match the larger screen. Both tablets are protected against wind and weather according to IP68, so they are dust and waterproof. The connection to the outside world keeps you with fast WLAN (WIFI 6) and 5G mobile radio. The fingerprint sensor protects against unauthorized use in the switch-on button.
Both Samsung Galaxy S10 Tab Fe are satisfied with a camera on the back, which comes up with reasonable resolution.
