LSG Vs DC: Rishabh Pant, the most expensive player in the history of IPL (IPL), Rishabh Pant made a strange decision against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2025 match during the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) match. LSG captain, who usually bat at number 4, came to bat at number 7 in this match, that too in the last over. Not only this, he was able to face only two balls and returned to the pavilion without opening an account. Pant’s exploits at their home ground are making a lot of fun on social media. At the time of the toss, there was heavy tape on Pant’s right hand. However, it is not known whether it had anything to do with their coming to number 7 or not. Later, Pant also did wicketkeeping. Social media teased Pant a lot
Social media users took Rishabh Pant to come on the field for so long, because the LSG 160 was also struggling to touch the figure. In fact, LSG could score only 159/6 runs in 20 overs. Due to the brilliant diversity of Delhi fast bowlers and the injury of captain Rishabh Pant, the team of Lucknow Super Giants could only score 159 runs for 6 wickets in the IPL match on Tuesday. Mukesh Kumar (4/33 in 4/33), Mitchell Starc (1/25 in 4 overs) and Dushmantha Chamera (1/25 in 3 overs) used slow balls and LSG crossed the 150 -run figure after a score of 87/1 in 10 overs.

A cheerful and fearless player like Rishabh pant is now gotting out reepeatedly because of the fear of goenka ji. He’s not even able to play his natural game anymore. The reason behind this seems to be just fear. What do you think?#LSGVSDC pic.twitter.com/lmtzeplotq

Pant was dismissed for zero twice against the same team
Earlier on March 24, Pant was dismissed for zero. Incidentally, see that even at that time he was competing with Delhi Capitals, but the bowler who dismissed him was the second. In that match, he was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav, while today he has become a victim of Mukesh Kumar. LSG could only score 72 runs in the last 10 overs, which is their minimum team score so far in the tournament. Pant’s injured palm also affected the possibility of increasing the LSG score, as captain Pant came to bat at number seven and was dismissed at zero on two balls.

Markram and Michel Marsh rescued Lucknow’s honor
Ayush Badoni of short stature (36 runs off 21 balls), which depends more on the timing of the ball than the strength, played their role, but no one can say that it will be enough or not. This was another great performance of DC’s bowling unit, which has been fantastic in the first part of the tournament. Eden Markram (52 runs off 33 balls) batted well and Mitchell Marsh (45 runs off 36 balls) once played a supporting role for the team. During the first 10 overs, the ball was coming well on the bat and the bounce was the same.
