Geeta Sen, wife of Gopal Sen, living in Jagat Chowk in Biaora city in Rajgarh district, had gone to Khokhara village of Kalapipal tehsil of her maternal uncle Shajapur district about 35 years ago. She suddenly disappeared from there. After this, the family members searched for Geeta Bai a lot but there was no clue of Geetabai. After this, about 5 years ago, the family members consider it dead and went to Prayagraj and made Gitabai’s pindadan. Every year the family started performing Shraddha on the day of Navami in Shraddha Paksha. But suddenly the ground slipped under his feet due to a phone from Mental Hospital in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This phone was informed about Geeta Bai being alive. After this, the family reached Nagpur with the help of Biaora police, including Social Service Superintendent Kunda Bidkar and Kalapipal of Nagpur Mental Hospital, and brought Gitabai to a safe house, after which there is an atmosphere of happiness in the family.

But after 19 months, information about Biaora was received and contacted in Rajgarh SP office. After this, information about the family was taken with the help of police. The woman was safely handed over to the family when the family came to Nagpur.

Geetabai’s husband Gopal Sen, son Ashok Sen told that after not getting information on the disappearance of the mother, he was gone to Prayagraj about 5 years ago. Since then, Shraddha was also being performed by garlanding the photo in Shraddha Paksha every year. After 35 years of Gitabai, the husband, son-daughter and grandchildren gave her a grand welcome with flower garlands when she returned home for the first time.
