Spain leads digital transformation
The 10 most demanded digital profiles for 2025 in Spain are:
- Software developer (20%): The growing need for mobile applications, cloud solutions and generative artificial intelligence keeps this profile at the top of demand.
- ICT Consultant (19%): Business digitalization requires cybersecurity experts, cloud infrastructure and process optimization.
- Digital Marketing Specialist (10%): Electronic commerce and digital strategies continue to consolidate as pillars of business growth.
- Digital Project Manager (7%): Efficient management of digital projects with agile methodologies is key to innovation.
- SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (7%): Safety and scalability of digital infrastructure are critical for companies.
- Digital Analyst (5%): The ability to interpret large volumes of data becomes essential for strategic decision making.
- IT architect (5%): It specializes in optimizing the digital infrastructure of companies according to their performance and user experience.

The irruption of AI in the labor market
One of the most prominent aspects of the report is the increase in the demand for artificial intelligence specialists. In the last year, 1,819 job offers for engineers from Machine Learning, generative AI architects and AI specialists have been registered.
“Companies are increasingly looking to integrate AI in their processes, from customer service to data analysis, generating new job opportunities in sectors such as banking, health and technology,” said study experts.
Other growing profiles include Devops engineers, specialists in process automation and blockchain experts, although this latest technology is still in the process of maturity in the labor market.
Most valued salaries and skills
As for economic compensation, the best salaries are in the following profiles:
- Digital Project Manager: € 4,088 per month
- Specialist/Architect of AI: € 3,999
- Systems administrator: € 3,596
- Digital Marketing Specialist: € 3,526
On the contrary, profiles with lower salaries are digital designer/UI/UX (€ 1,938) and digital analyst (€ 2,525). Despite the high demand, the average salary of a software developer is relatively low compared to other profiles (€ 2,745).
The most demanded competences include knowledge in artificial intelligence, automation, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), agile methodologies and data analysis. As for soft skills, leadership, continuous learning capacity and analytical thinking stand out.
