The magistrate also agrees the statement of the former firefighters, emergency positions and mayors of the zero zone
The judge who investigates the management of the Catastrophic Dana of October 29 in Valencia has summoned to declare as a witness the president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Júcar, Miguel Polo, and who was then chief inspector of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Valencia, José Miguel Basset, as well as the Director and the Deputy General of Emergency of the Generalitat, Alberto Martín and Jorge Suárez.
In addition, between the thirteen appearances agreed without date, it also includes that of the mayors of Paiporta -Maribel Albalat- and Catarroja -Lorena Sirvent- and that of the mayor of Sedaví -José Francisco Cabanes-, localities of the zero zone. In total, he cites to declare thirteen more people yet.
Thus, it is extracted from the content of a car, dated this Thursday and consulted by ABC, in which the head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 3 of Valencia responds to the request for proceedings of the former regional secretary of Emilio Argüeso emergencies, charged in the case together with the ex -consistency Salomé Pradas.
The judge denies cite as investigated the four people -polo, Basset, a chief of service of the coordination of 112 and an emergency communication technician- who argued, although they will do it as witnesses. The instructor points out that the former high position “lacks legitimation” to demand these accusations, because despite the prosecutor’s report that was pronounced against his and waiting for Valencia’s audience to resolve his appeal, he maintains the status of investigated.
The instructor also rejects some of the testimony proposed by her defense – such as the driver of her car or the Eurodiputa ‘Alvise’ Pérez, who was with him the later day – not having a relationship with the ongoing investigation.
Compromís is person in the case
In two other writings, the magistrate has accepted the personation as a popular accusation of Compromís and Intersindical, respectively, prior payment of paths of 6,000 euros.
The same amount imposes in a fourth car an individual to allow him to exercise the popular accusation, after admitting his complaint exclusively with respect to the two currently investigated in the case, the former regional secretary and the former Minister of Justice and Interior, and inadmissible in relation to the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, given his condition of aggroid.
The fifth self dismantles an appeal for reform against the judge’s decision to deny the indiscriminate obtaining of the audios of the calls for aid at 112 for their affectation to the secret of communications, while the sixth denies the request for investigation carried out by the defense of the ex -consellera on leaks to the means of the notarial act that he contributed in the court and that included a list of calls of his mobile phone.
