The royal blue catch a dream start in the game at the direct competitor. But then the game takes a crazy course. Also loses Nuremberg.
A game like a Hollywood thriller: lightning start. A controversial decision. A drama. Late hope. And finally a hit in the very last second. FC Schalke 04 experienced a real roller coaster ride at Greuther Fürth at 3: 3 (1: 2) – and ultimately saved a point in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Jahn Regensburg, meanwhile, was able to collect Big Points in the relegation battle against the 1st FC Nürnberg, won 2-1 (0: 1) despite the deficit, thus preventing the third Nuremberg victory in a row. In the third game of Sundays, Prussia Münster and Eintracht Braunschweig separated 1: 1 (1: 1).
Kenan Karaman (9th) gave the guests in the lead on Sunday, Roberto Massimo (11th) was able to compensate quickly, Jomaine Consbruch (26th) turned the game after Dennis Srbeny failed with a controversial penalty on S04 goalkeeper Loris Karius. Karius then had to be replaced injured shortly before the half -time break. Srbeny then increased for the hosts (54th) before Amin Younes was able to shorten again for Schalke (84th). Moussa Sylla (90.+6) then caused a jubilee with the “Königsblauen”, his goal was first canceled because of a supposed offside position, but after checking by the Var.
The 1st FC Nürnberg suffered a bitter damper for his promotion hopes in the bottom of the table Jahn Regensburg. The footballers of coach Miroslav Klose surprisingly lost 1: 2 (1-0) and missed it to move up to two points to the relegation place.
The guests had taken the lead through Janis (11th minute). But then they could be caught: an own goal by Florian Flick (47th) and a hit by Jahn striker Noah Ganaus (55.) turned the game. The Regensburgers can hope again in the table cellar: they have five points behind the relegation relegation place before the end.
Eintracht Braunschweig missed an important away win in the relegation battle. Despite the second fastest goal in the second division history, the direct competitor Prussia Münster only submitted a 1: 1 (1: 1).
In a combat -emphasized game, Richmond Tachie (1. minute) scored for the guests after 8.5 seconds. In return, Marc Lorenz (4th) converted a penalty for Münster.
From Braunschweig’s point of view, the draw was not sufficient to go to the table 15. To pull Münster the same. Instead, SSV Ulm 1846 and Jahn Regensburg came closer to their victories on the two direct relegation places.
