The Sony Bravia 8 II again relies on a QD OLED panel and no longer on LED technology.
One surprise is chasing the next: Last year Sony suddenly had LED panels installed in his Bravia TVs. But that is now the end, at least partially. The latest flagship TV from Sony is called Sony Bravia 8 II and comes with a QD OLED panel. It is one of three TVs from the 2025 lineup.

Only the upper class model relies on OLEDthe other two variants are equipped with a mini-LED or conventional LED panels. Of course, the televisions are also offered in different sizes.
The Bravia 8 II with OLED:
The Bravia 8 II is the successor to the A95L. The new TV is offered either in 55 inches or 65 inches. Unsurprisingly, we are dealing with a 4K TV here. It should appear in June and cost 2,599 or 3,299 euros.
Thanks to the QD OLED technology Exciting you outstanding black levels and contrasts. HDR and the broader color rendering are said to have increased again compared to the previous model.
The processor is called Bravia XR And in the latest generation even offers a AI scene recognition system. This optimizes image reproduction using the use of AI.
The so -called Acoustic Surface Audio+sounds particularly exciting. This is an unusual type of sound playback because the entire display is vibuted here and the sound comes directly out of the TV picture-exactly where it is theoretically generated.

Bravia 3 and Bravia 5:
The two mid-range and entry-level models make something different.
The Bravia 5 appears in the two smallest sizes in May and relies on a mini-LED panel. Here, too, you can expect a 4K resolution and 120Hz.
The Bravia 5 prices and sizes are as follows:
- 55 inches: 1,549 euros
- 65 inches: 1,899 euros
- 75 inches: 2,229 euros (from June)
- 85 inches: 2,999 euros (from June)
- 98 inches: 5,499 euros (from July)
The Sony Bravia 3-TV Can also 4K, has an LED panel, the X1 processor and Dolby Atmos as well as DTS: X. As with the other models, Sony also uses Google TV as a platform here. The television is available from May 2025.

The Bravia 8 II and Bravia 5-TVs offer a few more gimmicks: for example the so-called calibrated mode. It is said to represent selected films and series on Netflix or Amazon Prime as the filmmakers imagined. This supplies the intended image quality and vision of the people behind the films.
