Shortly after the season, Bryce Bennett has every reason to be happy. The Speed specialist’s wife born a daughter.
Happy customer from the world of ski: Bryce Bennett has become a father. This was announced by Kelley Bennett, the wife of the 32-year-old, via Instagram. She posted a picture of the newborn on the platform. It wears a dark blue, fluffy teddy overall and sleeps.
In the photo to the right of the baby: an amaryllis plant in a white pot-apparently as a size comparison. This fits another Instagram contribution that Kelley and Bryce Bennett had already published together in December. At that time they wrote to a video clip that showed the pregnant Kelley: “The largest baby in the world comes in March 2025.”
What the American and his partner probably alluded to: At 2.01 meters, the speed-ace itself is one of the largest athletes among the ski stars.
According to the youngest Instagram post, the daughter of the Bennetts is called Kate Page Bennett. It was born on March 28th – and thus just six days after the season finale in Sun Valley. Bryce Bennett was supposed to contest the departure there. But the weather didn’t play along. The race was canceled.
Bryce and Kelley Bennett have been a couple since 2015, married in 2022. Now they have completed their family happiness for the time being.
This was also pleased by the colleagues of the athlete. The French downhill and super-G specialist Johan Clarey commented: “Congratulations !!! A little girl, the best gift in life.” The former ski racer Alice Merryweather also wrote: “Congratulations !!” The former Canadian slalom driver Marie-Michèle Gagnon posted four red heart emojis.
