The villagers, desperate and scared, turned to their leader, Sardar, pleading for salvation. Mumba, however, remained steadfast in her faith. She assured everyone that Lord Shiv would save them, urging them to trust in the divine. Babul reinforced this belief by reminding them that they had placed Lord Shiv’s Jyotirlings in their rightful places, and therefore, they would be protected. Sardar, agreeing with Babul, emphasized that devotion transcends fear and instructed everyone to close their eyes and pray to Lord Shiv.
As the villagers chanted “Om Namah Shivaaya,” Babul underwent a miraculous transformation. He turned into Lord Shiv, growing tall and majestic. In a divine spectacle, he opened his hair, and the holy Ganga water began to flow down, drenching the villagers. This sight was accompanied by the reverent background music of “Om Kara Sadashiv Neelkanth Maheshwara.” After performing this miracle, Babul returned to his normal form and stood beside Mumba. He then encouraged everyone to open their eyes and witness the power of their prayer. The villagers were overjoyed, seeing the results of their devotion, and chanted “Har Har Mahadev” as they left the area, filled with renewed hope and faith.
After this miraculous event, Mumba approached Babul, expressing her gratitude and offering to cook his favorite food. Babul, however, redirected the conversation towards a more personal matter, asking Mumba to speak to her father about their marriage. Mumba, somewhat taken aback, told him that this could be discussed later. In a light-hearted exchange, Babul mentioned that he enjoyed eating fruits, which led to a playful moment where Mumba teased him, questioning who could possibly like fruits so much. Babul, in turn, reminded her that even Lord Shiv had a fondness for fruits before leaving the conversation there.
Meanwhile, another significant event was unfolding. Kalabhairava, a fierce protector, was seen confronting Jalandhar, a malevolent force. Jalandhar, in his rage, attempted to destroy the Jyotirling, a sacred symbol of Lord Shiv. However, Kalabhairava intervened, creating a protective shield around the Jyotirling. He stood firm, declaring that he would protect all the Jyotirlings, and by extension, the devotees of Lord Shiv. Jalandhar, enraged by this resistance, threatened to harm the villagers, but Kalabhairava blocked his path, urging him not to commit such a sin. Jalandhar, however, was not in the mood for advice and left the scene, leaving the threat of his return looming.
As the night progressed, Mumba found herself thinking about Babul’s earlier words. She decided to visit him while he was deep in meditation. Hoping to catch his attention, she made noises with her anklets and bangles, but Babul remained unmoved. Frustrated, she eventually called out to him, reminding him that she was waiting for him. Babul, opening his eyes, was surprised to see her at such an hour. Mumba, in an attempt to lighten the mood, offered him fruit juice, which brought a smile to Babul’s face, ending the episode on a softer, more personal note.
This episode was a blend of divine intervention and human emotions, showcasing the deep faith of the villagers and the protective nature of Lord Shiv through Babul.
