In Bihar’s Rohtas district, there has been a stir in the area due to the skeleton of a woman about 500 meters from the famous Chandatan Shaheed Hill on Sunday. Such an incident has created an atmosphere of fear among the local people near Mazar located in the mountainous region. The heartbreaking incident is from Sasaram Mufassil police station area. It is being told that about 20 to 25 days had passed since the woman died. All the clothes of the body were rotten and only bones were left. When the locals saw the skeleton, the police was immediately informed. The police of Mufassil police station reached the spot and took the skeleton and started identifying it.
Mufassil Police Station Roshan Kumar said that the age of the woman will be between around 25 and 30 years. She was wearing a blue salwar-kameez. She has not yet been identified and it is not clear how and when the woman reached the mountainous region. He said that the body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for post -mortem and only after the report comes, the cause of death will be revealed.
Hill of mountainous region criminals, incidents have happened earlier
Local people say that the Chandan martyr has become a safe base for the martyrdom region of criminals. Even before this, there have been many criminal incidents on this hill. A few years ago, the incident of gang -rape of three girls in the same area shook the entire district. At that time there was also protests and public anger. Local citizens questioned the police patrol system and said that Chandatan Shaheed Hill area is located on two police station areas (Mufassil police station and city police station) border. With this, criminals take advantage of this area. The east of the road comes to Mufassil police station area, while West Nagar is under police station. This is the reason that the police cannot be able to patrol regularly and criminals easily escape by carrying out the incidents.
An atmosphere of fear among the local people
There is fear among the local people after getting the woman’s skeleton. People have demanded the administration to increase security system in the hilly region, arrange regular patrolling and establish a permanent police post on the hill. He says that the crime cannot be expected to stop until the police has a strong presence in this area. The police is also investigating the matter seriously and is investigating every aspect. The identity of the woman, the conspiracy behind her death and the link to reach her mountainous region are being tried. Police officials say further action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report and forensic investigation.
