Rajasthan High Court gets 4 new judges, Rashtrapati Bhavan issued notification

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court received four new judges on Wednesday. According to the information, the President has appointed Anand Sharma, Sunil Beniwal, Mukesh Rajpurohit and Sandeep Shah to judge the High Court, using the power provided by section (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India.

Supreme Court collegium recommended

According to the information, the collegium of the Supreme Court had recommended the Central Government for the approval of the names of Anand Sharma, Sunil Beniwal, Mukesh Rajpurohit and Sandeep Shah. The four judges who have been appointed are Anand Sharma and Sunil Beniwal, Mukesh Rajpurohit and Sandeep Shah from Jodhpur.

All four senior lawyers who become judges of High Court are

Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said on the X handle that the central government approved the appointment of four lawyers as judges of the Rajasthan High Court on 26 March. The lawyers who have been appointed were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium.
