New Delhi: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of life and property after the earthquake in Myanmar on Friday. He has spoken to Myanmar’s General Min Aung Having. PM Modi has given this information on social media platform X. PM Modi assured the General of Myanmar to stand in solidarity in this difficult time. Expressing deep condolences to the people of Myanmar, PM Modi said that India stands with Myanmar in this difficult time as a close friend and neighboring country.

PM Modi spoke to Myanmar’s General Min Aung Having. He posted a post on the talk X. In his post, PM Modi wrote, “Talked to Myanmar’s Senior General Min Aung Having. He expressed his deep condolences on the deaths in the devastating earthquake. As a close friend and neighboring country, India is standing in solidarity with the people of Myanmar in this difficult time. Operation is being sent rapidly in the affected areas under Operation Brahma.”
India sent relief material
Let us know that India has sent the first consignment of relief material after the powerful earthquake in Myanmar. 15 tonnes of relief material has been sent to Myanmar as assistance from India. Relief materials were sent to Myanmar in the Indian Air Force (IAF) C-130J aircraft from Hindon station of India Air Force in Hindon. This relief package includes tents, sleeping bags, blankets, food prepared food, water purifier, hygiene kit, solar lamps, generator sets and essential jewels such as paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves and straps.
More than 1000 killed in Myanmar
In fact, the earthquake was felt in Myanmar and its neighboring country Thailand on Friday. This earthquake destroyed high buildings, bridges and dams. At least 1000 people died in Myanmar due to this earthquake, while 1700 people are injured. At the same time, a video of the collapse of an under -construction multi -storey building has surfaced in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The intensity of the earthquake on Friday afternoon was recorded at 7.7 and its center was near Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar. Even after this, many tremors of earthquakes were felt.
