Manoj Bajpayee, born in Belwa village near Bettiah city in West Champaran, Bihar on 23 April 1969, is not an identity today, but there was a time when he worked hard to reach this point. Manoj Bajpayee had revealed in the show ‘The Anupam Kher’ that he wanted to become an actor since childhood. He dreamed this at the age of 9, but his father wanted him to become a doctor. He wanted to fulfill the broken dream of becoming a doctor because of poverty through his son. He started acting with the film ‘Drohkal’ and after that in 1998, he made his special place in Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Satya’. After this, he never looked back. Now from Bollywood to OTT, his name and work are played. Let me tell you, he had resorted to lies to reach Delhi for NSD. He told the parents that they are going to Delhi to prepare for IAS.

This series made Manoj an OTT star

Manoj has received three National Film Awards, Six Filmfare Awards and two Asia Pacific Screen Awards for his performance. In 2019, he was awarded India’s fourth largest civilian honor, Padma Shri for his contribution to art. Manoj Bajpayee won the Special Jury National Award for the film ‘Pinjar’ (2003). He then played a role in the political thriller ‘Politics’ (2010), which was well appreciated. In 2012, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Chakravyuh’ (2012), ‘Special 26’ (2013), ‘Aligarh’, ‘Bhonsle’ and ‘Satya’ have played commendable roles. The Best Actor’s Filmfare OTT Award has also been won for ‘The Family Man’ (2021).
