After more than 30 years there is an end: Monika Grütters clears her office in the Bundestag and says goodbye to politics. For years she was standing alongside Angela Merkel that she owes her one of the most important teachings of her political life, she says. And of course she also has an opinion on Friedrich Merz.
Zeitmagazin: Ms. Grütters, they say goodbye to active politics after more than 30 years. Did you find documents or objects that you particularly touched when you clean up your office?
