The European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) has put an innovative digital tool online intended to support entrepreneurs in the territory. The objective of this new site is clear: simplifying the lives of project leaders and companies by providing them with centralized access to all services, support devices and resources they may need. Designed as a real unique gateway, this site is a direct response to the practical needs of MEL companies, emphasizing the clarity and personalization of information.
The MEL, a key player in regional growth, is actively committed to supporting job creation and stimulation of economic activity on its territory. Thanks to a close collaboration with many public and private partners, it works to the structuring of sectors of excellence, the implementation of actions promoting innovation, real estate and economic land, as well as the search for solutions adapted to the challenges of employment. Through this site, it further strengthens its commitment to meet the development challenges faced by local businesses.
Launched on March 14, the Mel Entreprise site was designed to meet the concrete and daily needs of companies in the territory, which can sometimes get lost in the abundance of available information. With its 120,000 establishments spread over the metropolis, it became essential to create a simple and accessible tool, offering a clear vision and personalized support. In consultation with a wide range of economic players – from project leaders to large companies – the MEL has developed a site designed to facilitate access to information and simplify procedures.
This site aims to meet the expectations of entrepreneurs by making it possible to better understand the help devices available and to access essential information on various themes: search for premises, innovation, environmental management, energy transition, etc. More than just a guide, it offers tailor -made support, by humanizing the relationship between companies and local administrations. This new tool is also a vector of valuation, by highlighting the successes of companies in the territory and by strengthening their feeling of belonging to a metropolitan economic dynamic.
Among the many features of the site, companies will be able to find practical information on subjects as varied as waste management, energy transitional procedures or solutions to improve their mobility. The site also provides them with a dashboard to measure the societal and environmental impact of their activity and give them the necessary keys to start a responsible transition process.
Another major asset of this site lies in the detailed presentation of the available assistance and support systems, both from MEL and its partners such as the Hauts-de-France region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA), Bpifrance and other key players in the territory. To meet the specific needs of companies, the site also includes a contact form allowing each entrepreneur to be oriented towards the adapted interlocutor.
With this platform, the MEL marks its commitment to responsible, sustainable and innovative economic development, while simplifying administrative procedures for businesses. A precious tool for local businesses, whether in the creation, development or transitional phase.
This launch is part of a global dynamic of support for the economic fabric of the MEL which has made its activity parks a real growth lever, with 141 sites fitted out and revitalized. Emphasis has also been placed on innovation, with the creation of five sites of excellence recognized in strategic sectors such as euralimentary, Euratechnologies or Euramaterials, which actively contribute to the revitalization of local economic sectors. MEL companies also benefit from the support of four hives of companies spread over the territory, which offer an environment conducive to the creation and emergence of new projects.
