At that moment, Surendar entered the scene. He announced that he had come to take Megha for the Rakhi celebration. Overcome with emotion, Megha broke down and hugged Surendar tightly. Kavita, noticing this, remarked that Megha must be missing her family and tried to rationalize Megha’s behavior by comparing it to her own past experiences. Megha, trying to hold herself together, packed her belongings, but before she could leave, Kavita issued a final warning. She instructed Megha not to disclose anything about the household’s affairs to her family. Megha, with tears in her eyes, retorted that she was still her family’s daughter and had every right to care about them.
As Megha prepared to leave, Shadhananth had a brief exchange with Surendar, expressing relief that Megha had married into such a prestigious family. Surendar, however, countered by saying that a daughter is never a burden, regardless of the circumstances. With that, Megha, carrying her luggage and a heavy heart, left with Surendar.
Later, during the Rakhi celebration, Megha’s mood temporarily lifted as Goldie tied a Rakhi on Surendar’s hand, followed by Megha tying one on Kirpal’s hand. The family then gathered to eat, and Kirpal presented Megha with a gift. He handed her another gift, which turned out to be a knife. Puzzled, Megha asked what she was supposed to do with it. Kirpal, with a serious tone, advised her to use it for protection in Georgia, the place where she would soon be. Megha, understanding the gravity of his words, embraced him, feeling both comforted and troubled by the underlying message.
