On August 12, 2024, an unexpected twist unfolded during the wedding preparations of Sonam. The day started as a regular celebration, but it soon took a dramatic turn, leaving everyone in shock. Megha, who was teaching dance steps to Sonam’s family, was suddenly interrupted when Sonia informed her that Sonam needed her. Sonam requested Megha to change the song, which she agreed to without hesitation. However, something strange caught her eye. She noticed Ranjeeta, who seemed to be in a hurry, and asked her about it. Ranjeeta revealed that they had a lead on a con man and were heading to the police station. She left quickly after that.
At the police station, Arjun, who was investigating the con man, questioned the victim about any photos of the culprit. Unfortunately, the victim had none. She explained that they had gone on a date, but the con man always took photos with his phone, leaving her with nothing. Arjun, determined to catch the criminal, instructed his team to call a sketch artist to help create an image of the con man.
Meanwhile, back at the wedding, Megha faced a dilemma when her dance partner ran away. She wondered how she could possibly dance at Sonam’s wedding without a partner. Sonam, trying to keep things under control, informed Megha that a new dance partner was available. Soon after, Manoj arrived, and Megha, unsure of his abilities, asked if he could dance. Manoj, not missing a beat, flirted with Megha. As they interacted, Sonam’s fiancé, Rajveer, entered the scene. Sonam introduced Rajveer to Manoj, but Megha, adhering to traditions, told Rajveer that he was not allowed to meet Sonam before the wedding. Manoj, playing along, took Rajveer away at Megha’s request. As this unfolded, Megha stumbled upon a phone, wondering if it belonged to Manoj. She decided to switch it on, unaware of the consequences.
In a twist of fate, Arjun, who had been tracking the con man, discovered that the suspect’s phone was switched on. He immediately left for the location with Ranjeeta. As they neared the site, Ranjeeta realized that they were heading toward Sonam’s wedding venue.
As the wedding festivities continued, Megha and Manoj performed a dance to the “jumka” song. The audience was enthralled by their performance. But as the dance ended, Arjun arrived at the scene with his team. Megha, still holding the phone she found, handed it to Manoj, who was puzzled. He questioned Megha on how she got his phone, to which she explained that he had dropped it in Sonam’s room. Manoj, realizing the gravity of the situation, scolded Megha for turning on the phone. Megha apologized, feeling guilty for her mistake. Manoj, trying to ease the tension, also apologized and explained that he received many calls from Georgia but wanted to focus on Megha and her family. Megha, reassured by his words, smiled and walked away.
Arjun, on the other hand, grew frustrated when he learned that the con man had switched off his phone again. However, with the help of the sketch artist, they now had an image of the suspect. Arjun showed the sketch to Ranjeeta, and they decided to go inside the wedding venue to search for the con man.
As the wedding ceremony progressed, Sonam and Rajveer reached the marriage mandap. The ritual of exchanging garlands, known as varamala, began. Megha noticed Arjun and wondered what he was doing there. Manoj, sensing her curiosity, asked her about Arjun. Megha explained that Arjun was an IAS officer, which piqued Manoj’s interest.
Suddenly, Arjun made a bold move. He approached the mandap and stopped Rajveer from placing the garland around Sonam’s neck. The crowd was stunned as Arjun accused Rajveer of being a fake groom. Sonam and her family were in disbelief, unable to process what was happening. The police officers, acting on Arjun’s orders, dragged Rajveer away from the mandap.
Sonam, trying to defend her fiancé, argued with Arjun, insisting that Rajveer was not what he claimed. Megha, trying to make sense of the situation, asked Arjun what proof he had against Rajveer. Sonam’s father also stepped in, defending Rajveer and questioning Arjun’s actions. But Arjun, with a stern expression, revealed the truth about Rajveer’s identity to Sonam’s father. He advised him to be thankful that Sonam’s life had been saved from a terrible fate. With that, Arjun and his team took Rajveer away, leaving the wedding in chaos.
As the police took Rajveer into custody, he remained unbothered. Confidently, he laughed and told the officers that no one would file a complaint against him.
Back at the wedding venue, Sonia expressed her disbelief to the family, finding it hard to accept that Rajveer was a con man. Kripal added to the shock by revealing that Sonam’s father had given Rajveer 9 lakhs to buy a new house in Canada. The situation was dire. Surender, concerned for Sonam, asked Megha to check on her. When Megha entered the room, she was horrified to find Sonam attempting to commit suicide.
The day ended in tragedy and confusion, leaving everyone involved in turmoil. The once joyful wedding turned into a nightmare, with many unanswered questions lingering in the air.
