Ahmedabad: A two -day meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) is going on in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Many senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge are present in the meeting. On Tuesday, on the first day, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Tuesday and alleged that for the past several years, a thought is being done to consider a thought about many national heroes. He also said in the party’s extended functioning committee meeting here that Sardar Patel’s ideology was contrary to the ideas of the RSS and it is ridiculous that people of this organization today claim the legacy of Sardar Patel.

Kharge also claimed that through communal division today, attention is being distracted from the basic issues of the country and is on the way to control the government by occupying the feudal monopoly resources. Emphasizing the strength of the organization, he said that it is necessary to carry forward the ideology. The working committee meeting was organized here at ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial’.
A day before the party’s session, he said, “This year is the centenary of Mahatma Gandhi to become Congress President. In December 1924, the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi became the president at the Belngav Congress session of my home state of Karnataka. We celebrated this centenary celebrations in Karnataka on 26 December.” He said, “Gandhiji gave us a weapon of truth and non -violence against injustice. This is such a strong ideological weapon that no strength can stand in front of it.
Congress will celebrate Patel’s 150th birth anniversary
The Congress President said, “On 31 October this year is the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. Jawaharlal Nehru Nehru ji called him” the founder of the unity of India “. We will celebrate his 150th birth anniversary with full gaiety across the country.” He alleged that for the last several years, a thought is being driven a thought about many national heroes. Kharge said that for 140 years, an atmosphere is being created against the Congress party with a glorious history of service and struggle in the country.
He said, “These people are doing these people who have nothing to show their achievements. There is nothing to explain their contribution in the freedom struggle.” Targeting the BJP and the RSS, he said, “They conspiracy to show the relationship between Sardar Patel and Pandit Nehru as the two heroes were against each other. The truth is that they were two aspects of a coin. All incidents and documents are witness to their sweet relationships.
He said, “You can understand how much Sardar used to affection with Nehru ji. On October 14, 1949, Sardar Patel said that the tireless hard work that Nehru has done for the country in the last two difficult years does not know more well than me. I have seen him growing old with great speed due to the burden of heavy responsibility during this time.” He said, “Sardar Patel’s ideology was contrary to the RSS ideas. He had banned the RSS. But laughter comes that today the people of that organization claim Sardar Patel’s legacy.
