Material for Makhana Almond Kheer:

Two cups of makhana, half cup almonds, a cup of sugar, a spoon of ghee, a spoonful of cardamom and a pinch of saffron, pistachio pieces and some rose petals

How to make Makhana almond kheer?

  • First step: To make Makhana almond kheer, first turn on the gas and roast the makhana-almond in a spoon of ghee. You can also use ghee more. After turning brown, take them out in a vessel and after cooling, grind both ingredients in a mixer.

  • Second step: Now, in the next step, place milk on a large flesh on a stove of gas and boil it well. When the milk comes to a boil, add one teaspoon of cardamom and a pinch of saffron. Now, add coarsely powdered makhana and almonds. Cook them on slow flame. Cooking on slow flame makes kheer tasty. After some time add sugar to it. They have to be cooked until the milk becomes thick.

  • Third step: When the makhana and almonds melt in milk and turn off the gas well. Now for garnishing, put a piece of pistachios and a few leaves of rose petals from the top. Makhana Kheer is ready for your fast. Now serve it hot.
