Nintendo Bring his new Switch 2 console onto the market on June 5. The price should be around 470 euros, as the Japanese game manufacturer announced in a “Nintendo Direct” advertising stream.
The switch is the most important product for Nintendo. The company exclusively publishes its new games, such as the series “Pokémon”, “Animal Crossing” and everything that belongs to the “Super Mario” franchise. There are only special offshoots for mobile platforms.
Switch 2 will replace the predecessor model, which is in third place in third place in the most successful consoles with more than 150 million sales, according to the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo DS. It is not known whether the latter will also receive successor models.
The first games include the new “Mario Kart World”, “Elden Ring” and “Donkey Kong”. A total of more than 50 games were announced for the console.
Audio and video chat over the console
At the presentation, Nintendo put some new online functions in the foreground. A central feature is supposed to combine the players more: via the new C button, call up a “gam chat” with which you are connected directly via the console via audio.
At the same time, the current screen can be shared with the group. A direct video chat is also possible with a separately available camera. A separate subscription is necessary for the online functions.
Share games with others
Games with other owners of a switch 2 or switch can also be shared via “Gameshare”. Some of the games for Switch 1 come to the new console as revised version. They are partially expanded with new content. If you already have the versions for Switch 1, you can buy an expansion pack for the new console.
