A team of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane have registered their second win this season with 80 runs against last season’s runner -up Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025 by 80 runs. In this match, KKR’s team batted first after losing the toss and scored 200 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. In KKR’s batting, Venkatesh Iyer played an important aggressive innings of 60 runs. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s team was reduced to 120 runs in 16.4 overs. Vaibhav Arora impressed everyone in bowling from KKR.

KKR quickly gave Hyderabad’s initial shock

Talking about KKR’s batting in this match against Sunrisers Hyderabad team, Venkatesh Iyer and young player Angkrish Raghuvanshi were wonderful in which Venkatesh scored a great innings of 60 runs with the help of three sixes and 7 fours in 29 balls. Apart from this, Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s bat also saw a great innings of 50 runs. In the match for Hyderabad, Shami, Pat Cummins, Harshal Patel, Zeeshan Ansari and Kamndu Mendis took 1–1 wickets.
