Team Gold, which included top-order batsmen like Phil Salt, Venkatesh Iyer, Manish Pandey, Nitish Rana, Rinku Singh, and Andre Russell, faced off against Team Purple, which boasted a strong bowling attack with players like Varun Chakravarthy, Suyash Sharma, Chetan Sakariya, and Harshit Rana.

Notable Absences

Notably absent from the game was KKR’s skipper Shreyas Iyer, who has been nursing a back injury. However, he is expected to be fit for KKR’s first game of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sunil Narine and Mitchell Starc were also not part of the practice match.
