Jharkhand government’s big decision regarding the Manian Samman Yojana, only these women will get money after March

Ranchi: The beneficiaries who have not linked their bank accounts to Aadhaar will continue to assist till March 31 under the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maniyan Samman Yojana (JMSY). An official said that in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, it was decided to extend the last date from 31 December to March. The cabinet has also decided that the beneficiaries whose bank account is not linked to Aadhaar will not get money after March. To take advantage of the scheme, the beneficiaries will have to link their Aadhaar card to the bank account.

After March, money will come in link accounts with Aadhaar

Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that the Cabinet has approved partial amendment in the implementation of the Mainian Samman Yojana. After this amendment, women applicants who do not have link to bank account Aadhaar will get financial assistance by March. After March, this amount will be given only in bank accounts associated with Aadhaar.

Cabinet approves 16 proposals

The state government provides Rs 2,500 per month to women between 18 and 50 years of age under the Mani Honor Scheme. Many beneficiaries were deprived of help since January due to not linking their accounts to Aadhaar. During the meeting, the cabinet approved a total of 16 proposals. These include Jharkhand Micro, Small and Medium Unit (MSME) Special Exemption Bill, 2025.

Cabinet also decided this

Dadel said that to ensure proper education to children with different types of disabilities, the cabinet has approved the creation of 3,451 posts out of a total of 50,000 sanctioned posts for intermediate trained assistant teachers and graduate trained assistant teachers in primary schools.
