JEE Main 2025: Tie Breaking Rule
- If the score of any two or more candidates is the same, then they get rank through the following process (tie braking rule).
- First of all, the high NTA score will be seen in maths i.e. mathematics. Which will be ranked on the basis of Aadhaar.
- If the score still remains the same, then the high NTA score will be seen in Physics.
- Even after this, if the score remains the same, then the high NTA score will be seen in the chemistry.
- Subsequently, in all subjects, the ratio of the effort of wrong answers for the correct answers will be seen.
- After this, the ratio of the effort of wrong answers for the correct answers in mathematics will be seen.
- Then in physics, the ratio of the effort of wrong answers for the correct answers is less, it will be seen.
- It will be seen that the proportion of wrong answers for the correct answers in the chemistry will be seen.
- If the equality still persists, then they will be given a similar rank.
