IPL 2025 Rajasthan Royals Accused of Match Fixing: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) has been engulfed in controversies after a shocking defeat against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Chasing the target of 181 runs in match number 36, Sanju Samson -led team needed only 9 runs to win in the final over and he also had 6 wickets. In an interview to News18 Rajasthan, Bihani reminded of the old controversies in the IPL of Rajasthan Royals, when in 2013 some players of the team were caught in spot fixing. Apart from this, team owner Raj Kundra was also found involved in betting, due to which both Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings were suspended from the 2016 and 2017 season. Due to this, Bihani has demanded an inquiry into the matter and appealed to the BCCI and other agencies to take the matter seriously.

Bihani also alleged that the Rajasthan Cricket Association was deliberately sidelined during the host of IPL. He said, “In Rajasthan, the ad hoc committee has been appointed by the state government. After reviewing our work, we have got expansion for the fifth time. In our tenure, we have successfully conducted all the competitions from district to national level. But as soon as the turn of IPL came for hosting, the Sports Council took responsibility for it. The BCCI had sent a letter to the RCA for IPL. The stadium is not even the MoU, if you are not paying the game for every match? “
Lost two consecutive close matches
Rajasthan was in a very comfortable position in the match against Lucknow Super Gynts.
