In view of the upcoming T20 matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, the final train time on all lines including the Delhi Metro Airport Express line will be extended to facilitate the audience returning home after the match. DMRC gave this information in a statement.
76 additional trains will run during match days
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement that after each match, Delhi Metro will run 76 additional trains during the days of the Delhi Metro match to manage the expected crowds. It said that extended services will continue for about one to two hours ahead of the general last train time on all lines.

The statement said that the move aims to ensure a smooth and safe journey for the audience using the metro. It said that the match is scheduled to be held on 13, 16, 27 and 29 April and 11 May at Feroz Shah Kotla Maidan.
Stadium is near Delhi Gate and ITO Metro Station
The stadium is located near the Delhi Gate and ITO Metro stations on the Violet Line, which runs from Kashmiri Gate to Raja Nahar Singh. However, no change will be made in the time of the last train from Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension. DMRC said the last train time will be adjusted based on the need of the match.
