KK Pathak: The central government has given new and very important responsibility to the famous and fast IAS officer Keshav Kumar Pathak (KK Pathak) of Bihar. This 1990 batch officer has now been made Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat in Delhi. This is the same post which has recently been upgraded to Joint Secretary and has been given Additional Secretary level status. In this way, Pathak has now reached a decisive role in the central bureaucracy of the country from the post of Chairman of Bihar Revenue Board.

He came in the headlines in discussions with the education department

K.K. Pathak’s name is known for administrative strictness and quick decisions in Bihar. In June 2023, when he was given the responsibility of the Education Department of Bihar, he took many big and strict decisions without hesitation. His action created a stir in the teacher organizations and many times there was protest on the roads. His sharp noise with the then Education Minister Chandrashekhar was also a matter of great discussion in the politics and bureaucracy of the state.
