Many people were hit by a strong wind near the gurudwara in Manikarna in Kullu. Six people died on the spot in this accident, while five people were injured. People who reached the spot said that a tree of “Kayal” has fallen due to strong wind. Due to the jam on the road below, many vehicles were standing, in such a situation, this accident occurred due to falling trees on the trains.
The buried people have not been identified at the moment. Police started a rescue operation with local people on the spot. Some vehicles have been damaged due to the accident. The injured have been sent to Kullu Hospital.
