Hansika Motwani, who is famous for her strong acting in TV and film industry, has requested help from the Bombay High Court. The actress has demanded dismissal of the allegations leveled against her and has also sought Rs 27 lakh. In fact, Hansika and her mother had filed a case at Amboli police station in Mumbai under domestic violence and other allegations in 2024 by her ex -sister Muskan Nancy James. Now the actress has moved the Bombay High Court to cancel the case of Section 498-A imposed by her sister-in-law.
Hearing will be held in High Court on 3 July
According to the information received, the Bombay High Court on Thursday issued a notice on a petition filed by actress Hansika Motwani and her mother Jyoti Motwani, seeking cancellation of the FIR lodged against her on charges of cruelty under Section 498-A. A bench of Justice Sarang Kotwal and Shriram Modak issued the notice and postponed the hearing till 3 July. Hansika and her mother have requested the bench to cancel the FIR recorded by Muskan in December 2024. Tell us that Muskan married Hansika’s brother Prashant Motwani in December 2020 and both were divorced in December 2022.
Hansika Motwani’s lawyer filed a writ petition
Actress Hansika Motwani and her mother have been charged under Section 498-A (Cruelty), Section 506 (Criminal Threats), Section 504 (intentionally insulting) and Section 323 (injury) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). After being accused in the case, the actress and her mother were granted anticipatory bail in a session court in Mumbai in February 2025. Now he has filed a petition in the High Court and filed a petition to cancel this FIR. Hansika’s lawyers Darshan Khurana and Adnan Sheikh have filed a writ petition.
