Ranchi: Like the personnel of Jharkhand government, now health insurance scheme will be implemented in all government schools of the state from May 1, 2025. In this regard, the Department of Higher and Technical Education has sent a letter to the registrar of Ranchi University, Vinoba Bhave Vishwa Vidyalaya, Sido -Kanhu Murmu University, Neelabar -Pitambar University, Kolhan University, Vinod Bihari Mahato Kolanchal University, DSPMU, JUT, Women University Jamshedpur, Jharkhand Shakti Vivi’s registrar.
Additional Secretary directed to complete the enrollment process

The department directed to send the name of the nodal officer
The department has instructed the university to send the name of the noded officer (including mobile number) for the nodal officer. So that under the scheme, interested beneficiaries can be done by the Chief Department of each of their concerned departments/ institutes/ boards/ corporations/ state university to do work related to enrollment process and premium payment etc. and the beneficiary can be included in the time limit under the scheme.
Maximum benefit of five lakh rupees will be benefited
This health insurance scheme being implemented by the state government will give teachers and employees a maximum benefit of Rs five lakh per year for treatment. Under this scheme, teachers and employees and their dependents can also get the benefit of investigation and medicine etc. in OPD. The process of registering for the benefit of the scheme will be started. After making the card œ, the registered beneficiaries will get health facilities at free or discounted rate. Cashless treatment will also be available. It is known that the employees working in the state government have started getting the benefit of this scheme from a match ‹2025.
