New Features in Dawntrail
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail brings a wealth of new content. The expansion includes new areas, dungeons, jobs, and even a new playable race.

- Tuliyollal: A bustling city that stretches up a mountain from its coastal harbor to a palace at the summit.
- Urqopacha: Home to the Pelupelu and Yok Huy peoples, dominated by the majestic peak of Worqor Zormor.
- Kozama’uka: A verdant forest region with stunning waterfalls and unique cultures.
- New Dungeon:
- Ihuykatumu: A level 91 dungeon that starts with a river cruise through a jungle, promising challenging encounters.
- New Jobs:
- Viper: A close-range fighter using two one-handed blades and a two-handed weapon for powerful strikes.
- Pictomancer: Uses a brush to bring their artistic creations to life with various spells and abilities.
- New Playable Race:
- Female Hrothgar: Known for their lithe, muscular forms and leadership qualities.
Graphical Overhaul
Dawntrail features the first major graphical update for Final Fantasy XIV. This includes enhanced textures, improved shadows, and better material qualities for characters and environments. These improvements aim to deliver a visually stunning experience on PlayStation 5.
