Is there another comeback at Borussia Dortmund for Mats Hummels? Actually, the 2014 world champion wants to end his career in summer, but before that he could just play the club world championship, according to a rumor. This does not rule out coach Niko Kovac.
Niko Kovac did not deny the rumors about a return from Mats Hummels to Borussia Dortmund. “I personally hear about it too,” said the trainer before the game at Bayern Munich (Saturday, 6.30 p.m./Sky and in the NTV.de Live ticker): “Mats is certainly an extraordinary footballer who has achieved a lot and has a huge importance for BVB.”
The “Bild” had reported that BVB deals with reporting for the club World Cup in summer in summer. To do this, the 2014 world champion would have to postpone his plans to end the career at the end of the season, and receive a contract with a correspondingly short term.

In an additional transfer window from June 1 to June 10th, the club World Cup participants Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich can register newcomers in advance to have them available in the tournament. The club World Cup with 32 clubs will take place in the USA from June 14 to July 13.
