Mobile sacrificial advice has in Saxony-Anhalt registered a clear increase in the right, racist, anti -Semitic and queer -hostile attacks. Last year, 414 people were directly affected by 281 attacks, according to the annual balance sheet of mobile sacrificial advice. This corresponds to an increase of 18 percent compared to the previous year. Since the beginning of the monitoring 22 years ago, mobile sacrificial advice has only recorded even more relevant acts of violence in 2016. The proportion of acts of violence that were committed in public space rose by 34 percent to 173.
So the development was with the different offenses
For the past year, the specialized advisory project for victims of violence registered 169 assault offenses, in 2023 there were still 144. The number of threats and coins rose from 86 to 98. In addition, six fire or explosive offenses were counted, two in the previous year two were in statistics. Mobile sacrificial advice does not go from a significant number of police displayed and also not known to the victim counseling even known law motivated violence.
The reasons for the climb
Antje Arndt, project manager of mobile sacrificial counseling, sees the reasons for the increase in the increase of right-wing motivated violence in the progressive normalization of extremely right-wing, minority and democratic positions. “This goes hand in hand with an increased promotion of violence and willingness.”
Victim help sees escalating racism – even against children

Danger from neo -Nazi youth groups
Mobile sacrificial advice also points out that since the spring of 2024 Saxony-Anhalt and East Germany, neo-Nazi groups and networks have always acted publicly. They emerged from a confident and dominant extremely right youth culture in many places and largely came from football hooligan scenes. They organized and radicalized on the Internet. According to the observations, the groups use classic neo -Nazi outfits of the so -called baseball batons, openly glorified National Socialism.
“The investigative authorities must not see how the” German youth first “exceeded the threshold from the militant neo-Nazi network to the terrorist group,” said project manager Antje Arndt. With anti -Semitically motivated attacks, mobile sacrificial advice made an increase from 20 to 25 cases. “The threat for many Jews in Saxony-Anhalt has further tightened five years after the attack in Halle and again to Yom Kippur,” said Antje Arndt. Queer hostility remains at a constant level
According to mobile sacrificial counseling, the registered number of queer anti -queer violence is roughly at the previous year’s level. 23 attacks with 28 directly affected were included in the statistics, in 2023 there were 22 attacks.
