Experts will brainstorm on innovation in food processing

Food Processing: There is a lot of possibility in the field of food processing in the country. Work is being done to promote innovation in this area. The second edition of Supalam (Startup Ferram for aspirational veterans and advisors) will be held on 25-26 April in collaboration with the Ministry of Food Processing Industry, National Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTAM) Kundali. This year’s conference is based on ‘self -reliant India’. The purpose of the event is to strengthen the area by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship in food processing. The two -day program will consider the options to empower startups, facilitate knowledge and create networking opportunities.

Union Food Processing Industry Minister Chirag Paswan will inaugurate this conference by focusing on business for young entrepreneurs through government schemes and subsidies. More than 250 startups from 23 states across the country including Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Manipur, Bihar, Odisha, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand have already been registered, which are working to showcase India’s innovation. Some startups will demonstrate new techniques such as cell clicked meats, plant-based food, functional food and rapid detection kits for contaminants and adulterations to strengthen food processing and conservation mechanisms in the country.

Strategy will be made to promote development and branding

The legends will share their experiences in the first day programs. The program will include the legendary of industry and heads of the startup company. During this period, important topics like sustainable development, branding, digital access and government assistance in the food sector will be discussed. In the main attraction, there will also be a panel discussion on increasing the business with responsibility, which will include people from the industry like Abhishek Kakkar of the Indian Angel Network and Rare Rawat of Burosi Foods. Another session on digital marketing strategies for food startups will be led by a senior official of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) and a marketing experts like Yashna Garg of GON Life Sciences.

On the second day, young entrepreneurs will share their experiences in a session called Pep Talk by emerging startup. It will also include Isha Jhawar of Reeet Good Private Limited, which is known for her work in healthy, preservative -free tomato and mayonnaise and Romi Kulthia of Atpata, who combines traditional knowledge with modern technology. Prominent people of major organizations like Nestle, Buhalar Group, Eureka Analytical Systems Private Limited and Indian Angel Network will also express their views. The program aims to promote cooperation in India’s food processing industry with more than 65 exhibitions representing 20 states across the country, including over 300 participants, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers, including more than 300 participants, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.
