Encounter with terrorists in Kathua.
An encounter took place between security forces and militants on Thursday in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists have been killed in this encounter, while three soldiers of security forces have also received Veeragati. Four soldiers were injured in the encounter. The injured also include an army soldier, which has been shifted to the Military Hospital. The condition of all the injured remains stable. The encounter is still going on. Security forces in Kathua have been conducting anti -terrorism operations on a large scale for the last 4 days. According to the information given by the officials, on Thursday morning, security forces faced terrorists near Jakhole village in Juthana area of Rajbagh. The place is about 30 km from where the encounter took place in Hiranagar sector on Sunday.
Encounter with terrorists continues
The officials have been informed that additional force has been sent to the site of the encounter in Kathua. The encounter between security forces and militants continues till the final report is received. Let me tell you that on Sunday evening, there was an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Hiranagar sector for more than half an hour. It is believed that these terrorists are part of the same group who escaped after the encounter on Sunday evening.
Terrorists continue searching
In fact, intelligence was found about the presence of terrorists in Sanyal village near the Pakistani border. After this, SOG started an anti -terror campaign. Terrorists are being discovered for several kilometers. Army, NSG, BSF, Police, Special Campaign Group and CRPF personnel are engaged in this campaign and the help of helicopters, UAVs, drones, bulletproof vehicles and investigative dogs is being taken.
How terrorists entered India?
It is believed that on Saturday, these terrorists had entered the India’s border through a new tunnel built either across the drain or across the border. On Monday, in the search operation, near the site of the encounter in Hiranagar, four carbine magazines, two grenades, a bulletproof jacket, sleeping bags, ‘tracksuits’, several food and drink packets and separate polythene bags filled with goods were recovered to make ‘improvised explosive devices’.
