Corpse find in Saxony: Two dead were discovered there in a manure basin. The murder commission has taken over the investigation.
Two bodies were found in a manure basin in Gröditz in the Meißen district, northwest of Dresden. According to the police, it is a woman and a man. The identity of the dead has not yet been determined.
As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the manure basin is part of an agricultural company in the Stansberg district.
According to a police spokesman, the dead are not employees of this company. There are currently no evidence of external effects, but forensic examinations are still ongoing. Results can be expected on Wednesday at the earliest.
The Dresden homicide commission has taken over the investigation. The background is still unclear. However, it is believed that the bodies have been in the manure basin for a long time and were only discovered by chance.
The police secured the site. Investigators and forensic technicians also examine the manure basin on Tuesday evening. The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the action.
