Kathmandu: Despite the deployment of the army on Friday in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, the situation has become uncontrollable. Two people have died in a violent clash between pro -monarchy protesters and police. While at least 30 people have been injured. It is being told that pro -monarchy protesters threw stones and attacked a political party office, killing one person in the erupted violence, while 30 others were injured.

Fire in vehicles

The protesters also set the vehicles on fire and looted the shops, after which the army was called, while curfew was imposed in some parts. The authorities of the district said that the curfew will remain in force till about five hours i.e. 10 pm and in some areas no one will be allowed to roam. The authorities said that the police tried to disperse the protesters trying to break the stones and break security barriers, injuring several police personnel. He said that half of the injured people are policemen.

In another part of the capital of Nepal, they organized a separate rally who was opposing the return of the monarchy in the country. In the Tinkun region of Kathmandu, monarchy supporters caught the flag of Nepal in their hands and a picture of former King Gyanendra Shah. During the clash, the protesters burnt a house, set eight vehicles on fire, attacked the office of the CPN-Unified Socialists Party in Baneshwar, looted Bhatbhatni Supermarket in Chabahil and vandalized the offices of Kantipur television and Annapurna Post Newspaper. The Kathmandu district administration announced curfew in Koteshwar, Tinkuna, Airport area, Baneshwar Chowk and Gaushala between Shantinagar Bridge and Manohra River Bridge. Officials said that if people show their tickets, they will be allowed to go to the airport. (Language)
