Customers leave derogatory message on the bill

Two people eat in a restaurant at the airport. Before you go, leave a message on the bill. This is aimed at the waiter who served it. The man is horrified.
A waiter who worked at the Los Angeles International Airport in the “Planet Hollywood” restaurant was except for anger: two customers had left him a message on the bill. And it had it all: “No tip for illegal. Go back to mexico” (German: no tip for illegals. Go back to Mexico) was the handwritten message.
The incident occurred on March 21. “After gone, I opened the folder with the bill and found the news,” said the waiter named Guillermo Ortiz. He explained that he is not even a Mexican but Puerto-Ricaner. However, his wife is Mexican. “There is no right to treat people like this,” he criticized the racist note. Until he read what was on the piece, he thought the two customers were satisfied, reports the television station KTLA. That changed when he brought them the bill. “I could see from the way they looked at me that something was wrong,” said Ortiz.
The invoice already included a tip of 18.5 percent. Customers can remove this item if they were not satisfied. This is exactly what the guests who had been served by Ortiz would have done. And instead of the tip of the tip, he found the hurtful, hateful message. “I’ve been working as a waiter since 2014, which is the first time that something like this happened to me,” said Ortiz.
The couple had already been gone at the time. Because they had paid in cash, there is no way to track them down. “I’m proud of what I do,” he added. “And with my job I can take care of my children and support my family.
Ortiz believes that the current situation with US President Donald Trump and political rhetoric to immigrate promoted such behavior in some people in the United States.
He reported the incident to the management of “Planet Hollywood”, the company tested the matter. However, the location at Los Angeles Airport will soon be finally closed – and Ortiz will probably be unemployed at first.
