After a sexual attack at a subway station, a 24-year-old stands in front of the Berlin district court. He is said to have attacked a young woman from behind on a platform overpass, sluggled to the ground, choked and sexually abused. The indictment is on rapesexual assault and dangerous bodily harm.
At the beginning of the trial, the defense lawyer said that he was “very horrified by his behavior”. The consumption of drugs and alcohol must have led to the attack at the Hönow underground station in Berlin-Hellersdorf. In the case of the accused rape, he clears them as an attempt. He could only remember that.
Attack early in the morning on a transfer
The woman was on her way home in the early morning of November 17, 2024 when she was attacked on a platform overpass. When she defended herself, the accused pushed the woman to the ground and dragged on her. She continues to climb a staircase with her head, it is said in the indictment. The 24-year-old then choked and raped the woman until she was unconscious.
According to the indictment, the 24-year-old fled when a train driver intervened. Pictures of surveillance cameras led to the man’s arrest three days later. Since then he has been in custody. The young woman, according to the information, said a mid -twenties, told the public. The process will continue on April 17th.
