CESENA – Yet another tragedy at work this morning in Borello, a hamlet of Cesena. Shortly after midday, a worker was crushed to death when the forklift he was working with suddenly overturned near the E45. The dynamics of what happened are yet to be clarified, it seems that the worker was busy unloading a truck when the forklift suddenly overturned, crushing him. There was nothing that could be done for the worker, who practically died instantly due to the devastating and multiple traumas he suffered.
Once the alarm was raised, raised by some work colleagues, 118 paramedics rushed to the scene, but upon their arrival they were unable to do anything but confirm the death of the man, whose body was recovered by the firefighters. The police are also on site to carry out legal investigations, the reconstruction of what happened and any responsibilities.
