After a serious traffic accident with two deaths, the 59 Autobahn near Duisburg was closed on one side. The partial closure applies in the direction of Düsseldorf. Fire department And emergency services are in use with dozens of forces.
According to initial findings by the fire brigade, a car is said to have overturned shortly after midnight, whereupon a second vehicle crashed into the car. Two car inmates died at the scene of the accident, a third came to the hospital for treatment. At first, neither the responsible police station nor the fire brigade were able to provide more detailed information.
