(CNN Spanish) –– Iván Lima Magne resigned as Minister of Justice of Bolivia, announced this Thursday in your X account.
Lima spread the message with a photo of his resignation letter, where he thanked President Luis Arce for having incorporated him into his cabinet when his term began, almost four years ago.
“In this time we have faced severe difficulties and have overcome great obstacles (…) With you, Mr. President, we prove unequivocally that democracy is a privilege that we must preserve at all costs and that the unity of the country and of the Bolivians is a good that we must sustain every day, with great effort and no less tenacity,” says his motto, without specifying the reasons for his departure.
CNN contacted the Bolivian Presidency for comment on this resignation and is awaiting a response.
