“They are destroying our dreams and goals, I want to let them know that we are good boys,” read a mother of a detainee through tears, from a letter from her detained son. “We are losing our youth, our studies, it makes me sad for my mother who suffers a lot. They don’t know the pain it causes me, the only thing we ask is to leave this ugly place, we can’t stand another day in this place. We are just young people who have nothing to do with what is happening in the country. “We are not terrorists, we are innocent,” he continued.
