Demand to hang Hasina
Hasanat Abdullah, one of the prominent leaders of the students’ party, claimed on Saturday that the army was trying to restore a “sophisticated” Awami League. Hundreds of supporters of Abdullah raised slogans against the army chief during the protests by the NCP at the Dhaka University campus and demanded that Hasina and her ‘companions’ be hanged after the trial.
