Control at the Volksfest in Würzburg escalated – police officers suffer facial injuries

The two police officers wanted to take control late Friday evening (April 11) after disputes between several groups. The three alleged perpetrators had fled after the incident. Through surveys by witnesses, the police identified the 27-year-old and his 20-year-old brother as a suspect.

The brothers had contacted the guard after the police contacted their parents. They were released again after a blood sample was submitted. The police are now investigating them for an assault on enforcement officers. Another alleged perpetrator is still being sought, it is said.
