In the east of the capital, emergency services are alerted due to a fire. Any help is too late for a person in the affected apartment.

In Berlin-Hellersdorf, the fire brigade discovered a dead person on Friday afternoon (March 22nd). According to their own statements, the emergency services were called to the Tollensestrasse around 4:50 p.m. There, according to the information, it burned on the 4th floor of an apartment building.

Despite the measures taken immediately, the person in the apartment could no longer be helped, the fire brigade said. Other people were therefore not injured. The fire brigade did not announce any further information, such as the cause of the fire and death.

According to the fire brigade, the fire was quickly under control, adjacent areas were also checked by the emergency services. A total of 18 emergency services were on site to extinguish the flames. After completing the extinguishing and ventilation measures, the site was handed over to the police.
