(CNN Spanish) – – The dress worn by the president of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum on the day of her inauguration attracted attention due to the striking embroidery it presented.
The fabric is the creation of Claudia Vásquez Aquino, an artisan from Oaxaca, and she works on “Lari Guie’ Art made fashion”.
“It was an honor to embroider this piece for the inauguration of the first president of Mexico. Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is also Lari Guie’! Made in Xadani, made in Oaxaca,” said Vásquez Aquino on his Facebook profile.
